 1 Corinthians 4:15 For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

1 Peter 5:8 8 Be alert and of sober mind.  Your enemy the devil prowls around  like a roaring lion  looking for someone to devour.

John 10:10 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life,  and have it to the full.

Ephesians 6:11-17 11 Put on the full armor of God,  so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,  but against the rulers, against the authorities,  against the powers  of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  13 Therefore put on the full armor of God,  so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith,  with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Colossians 3:16 16 Let the message of Christ  dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom  through psalms,  hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

Revelations 12:11 11 They triumphed over  him  by the blood of the Lamb  and by the word of their testimony;  they did not love their lives so much  as to shrink from death.

James 5:16 16 Therefore confess your sins  to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.  The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
